When we are commissioned to shoot a wedding we make sure that every need is met when it comes to recording your memorable event. We photograph everything form the locations of your ceremony and reception to the details that you worked hard to assemble for your big day.
Bridals
Bridal Sessions are great opportunity for our brides to show off their beautiful wedding dresses in a studio or on location environment. At most weddings, brides like to display their large framed bridal portrait at the ceremony or reception area when all of their guests are walking in to be seated. Although, some of Picture Bros. wedding packages include bridal sessions, you may actually commission a bridal session separately. When getting your bridal portraits done we ask that all of our brides have their makeup and hair done, their bouquet and another person to assist you. This is to help your session go smoothly and your pictures to turn out elegantly.
Wedding Ceremony
Before your wedding ceremony begins, we try to take shots of the bride, groom and wedding party getting ready. We also would like to get in as many pictures of you and your wedding party before hand so it wont take too much time after the ceremony is over to get the necessary shots that you would like. Its understandable that some photo ops would have to wait because of time restrictions and in some traditions it is not good for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony. As the ceremony is going on, our photographers will be in various locations throughout the venue to get the best shots available.
After the ceremony is over, we usually would have the bride,groom and all family members to stay after so we can take the group shots of all of the family and wedding party before you go to your reception. During this time ,it will allow all of your guests to get to the reception before you do so you can have your grand entrance and for us to capture the traditional group shots that you would like to take most.
Wedding Reception
At the wedding reception, there are various key moments that are a must for us to photograph. Here are a list of shots we like to get:
- Bride and Groom Entrance
- First Dance
- Mother & Son Dance
- Father & Daughter Dance
- Toast
- Cake Cutting
- Garter Toss
- Bouquet Toss
- Grand Exit
- Reception Details
- Guests Dancing (There is a new dance invented around this time)
- Time alone with the Bride & Groom
The last bullet point is a very important one for us. We ask that we can get at least 15 min. of the bride and grooms time during the reception so we can go off and get some shots while everyone is dancing. The alone time is where we can create some magical and creative eye candy for you to place in your album or for prints. We will pretty much utilize locations around your reception area that will make a good backdrop for your photos.
